The Guard Monitoring System with Tamper Proof Technology
The Data Collection Unit offers a robust time and location device capable of monitoring employee movements at predetermined locations throughout a customer site.
The DCU offers an added element of control, ensuring that your employees are in the right place at the right time, giving a guarantee to your clients that sites are completely covered throughout.
The DCU itself is a compact, easy to handle unit which is small enough to be held on a key ring and designed for ease of use.
Deliberate damage has been the downfall of similar systems in the past; causing problems with lost data and added costs but with an intelligent self protection system, not only is this sensor protected against damage by bored employees, it actually identifies which one tried to damage it.
The system can distinguish between: levels of hit intensity, i.e whether caused by an ordinary fall or by intentional damage; microwave; high voltage. All the time the DCU will remain unaffected by damage with no reduction in battery life.
The DCU is the only one of its kind on the market today and its advantages over similar systems will add considerable value to the monitoring requirements of any company employing mobile workers.
How it works
Step One
The DCU is assigned to a site or individual through the software.
Employee assigned unique ID key ring.
Employee log's on by touching unique ID key ring to the DCU. Location checkpoints programmed through the Software platform.
Employee fulfils patrol or route as required, by touching location checkpoint with the DCU.
Any sabotage can be recorded and reported.
Step Two
Once patrol or round (series of patrols) is completed, data is transferred through a memory tag, usually held by the supervisor.
One memory tag can hold up to 2000 readings before reaching its 64Kb capacity.
Memory tag is then used to transfer data through super fast USB 2.0 download facility.
Multi-sensor information is now downloaded to the software to generate many reports.
The DCU is the only guard system to take full advantage of a memory download tag.
